About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking team at Sandgate Road Surgery, where you will play a key role in patient care and service development.
The position is a hybrid clinical role that supports the Matron Team while also undertaking general nursing duties,providing the opportunity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a supportive multidisciplinary team environment.
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities
* Provide advanced clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
* Manage a varied caseload, including acute and chronic conditions
* Deliver patient-centred care in line with best practice guidelines
* Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Assistingwith care navigation and triage in General Practice.
* Contribute to service improvement and clinical leadership whereappropriate.
* Experience in deliveringchildhood immunisations, ensuring safe and effective vaccination in line with national guidelines.
* Skilled in performingcervical cytology,maintainingpatient comfort while adhering to screening protocols.
* Competent in providingwound care, including assessment, dressing, and ongoing management to promote healing.
* Working alongside the Matron Team to carry out home visits in the community
