Overview
At Derek Mills Wealth Consultancy, a Managing Partner Practice of St. James’s Place, we are looking for a brilliant Administrative Assistant to join our growing team, to help serve high net-worth and ultra-high net-worth clients. Our Practice Manager is currently balancing multiple responsibilities and we’re looking for someone who can work closely with her, take ownership of core admin tasks, bringing structure and efficiency to the Practice.
What we’re looking for
* Strong administrative and organisational skills
* Ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively
* Attention to detail and accuracy in everything you do
* Proactive attitude – you spot what needs doing and get it done
* Willingness to learn new systems (training provided – a financial services or wealth management background would help but is not essential)
What you’ll be doing
* Providing essential admin support to the Practice Manager and across the Practice
* Maintaining and updating client records and documentation
* Assisting with varied tasks that keep the Practice running smoothly
* Supporting the Practice Manager in streamlining processes and projects
You’ll Need to Be
* Calm under pressure, impeccably organised, and ahead of the curve
* A natural communicator with outstanding written and verbal skills
* Tech-savvy (comfortable with Microsoft 365, CRM tools, or willing to learn fast)
* Self-motivated, reliable, and trustworthy
* Ideally experienced in working with financial professionals or private clients
* Based in or very near Solihull, and happy to be office based
* A role with variety and responsibility, no two days are the same
* A supportive, close-knit team that values your contribution
