Job Overview

At Golden Bull we are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our talented kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in busy kitchen and a proven track record of lidership in food production and hospitality. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring that high standards of food safety and quality are maintained. This role requires exceptional leadership skills to manage and inspire a diverse team while delivering an outstanding dining experience.

Responsibilities

* Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service.
* Lead the culinary team in food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain high standards.
* Develop and implement new menu items that reflect current trends and customer preferences.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment.
* Manage stock levels, ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
* Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff to enhance their skills and performance.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
* Monitor food costs and waste management to optimise profitability.

Skills

* Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management within a kitchen environment.
* Proficient in food preparation techniques and culinary skills across various cuisines.
* In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in the kitchen.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and other departments.
* A passion for hospitality and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
* Ability to adapt to changing menus and customer preferences while maintaining quality.
* Experience managing a busy kitchen, training and developing a high performing team who constantly exceed targets
* Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen and getting the best of your team around you.
* A keen eye for delivering tasty and well-presented meals to customers each and every time
* Skill and willingness to take on and adapt to challenges whilst working in a busy kitchen.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £38,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
