Audit Graduate - Glasgow 2026 role at Johnston Carmichael Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers. We have a number of graduate vacancies across different business lines and locations. The Role
Our three-year Graduate training programme offers experience, responsibility, and support from the start. You will receive full study support towards an ICAS or ACCA qualification and be provided with a training contract to balance work and study. In addition to completing professional qualifications, you will develop interpersonal and commercial skills through an induction experience, soft skills training (for Early Careers colleagues), the JC Aspire programme, our partnership with Moore Global, and networking events. Roles are available in January 2026 or August 2026 start dates.
About You
You will be a recent graduate with (or working towards) a first-class or 2:1 honours degree in any subject. You should have a growth mindset and a passion for learning, strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and pride in your work. Good time management, problem-solving ability, and sound judgement are essential, with a can-do approach. All candidates are required to have the right to live and work in the UK permanently and without restrictions.
The Teams
* Corporate Audit: supports clients to stay compliant with changing financial regulations; exposure to a wide range of clients across industries.
* Financial Services Audit: focuses on wealth and asset management, asset managers, private equity, venture capital, and listed entities including FTSE 250s.
* Financial Reporting Advisory: assists with technical accounting advisory needs, including GAAP conversions (IFRS, UK GAAP) and financial statements preparation for audited businesses.
* Funds Audit: covers open-ended regulated funds with a portfolio ranging from equities to bonds.
