We're working with several well-regarded secondary schools in Corby who are looking to appoint Teaching Assistants for the new academic year starting September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who's passionate about education, whether you're experienced in school support or looking to begin your journey in the classroom.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Working closely with teachers to support pupils across KS3 and KS4
* Providing 1:1 or small group support to students, including those with additional needs
* Helping to deliver targeted interventions and classroom activities
* Supporting the learning, progress and wellbeing of students
* Assisting with behaviour management and promoting a positive learning environment
* Contributing to a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom culture
* Supporting students with SEN or those who require extra pastoral care
Who We're Looking For:
* Someone who is patient, empathetic, and confident working with young people
* Previous experience in schools or youth support (desirable but not essential)
* A team player who can adapt to different classrooms and challenges
* Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach
* A genuine interest in supporting pupils with diverse learning needs
* An understanding of safeguarding and child protection (training provided)
