Are you an experienced Financial Lines Claims professional ready to step into a senior role where you’ll handle complex, high-value claims and play a key part in leading your team’s success? This is your chance to join a respected London Market insurer with a Lloyd's Syndicate platform with a supportive, high-performing claims function. As a Senior Financial Lines Claims Handler, you’ll take responsibility for managing complex and technical claims within the core Financial Lines portfolio. You’ll work directly with the Claims Manager to deliver a first-class service, provide technical oversight and guidance to Claims Adjusters, and act as a key point of contact for brokers, underwriters, and clients. This position offers a blend of hands-on technical work and leadership influence — perfect for someone looking to deepen their expertise and step into a more senior, visible role within the London Market.

Desire What you’ll be doing:

1. Manage, assess, and adjust complex Financial Lines claims within authority levels, ensuring accurate coverage and reserving.
2. Act as a trusted technical point of contact for Claims Adjusters, providing guidance and support on claim strategy and resolution.
3. Work closely with the Claims Manager to implement team objectives and ensure claims are handled promptly and fairly.
4. Liaise with brokers, underwriters, and policyholders to maintain strong working relationships.
5. Review and manage TPA/DCA bordereaux and payment processes.
6. Attend market claim meetings and contribute to trend analysis and reporting.
7. Maintain compliance with Lloyd’s and FCA regulations, ensuring best-in-class claims handling standards.

Action What you’ll bring:

Proven experience handling Financial Lines claims (3+ years minimum)
Strong understanding of D&O, PI, and Financial Institutions risks
Experience using London Market systems – ECF, CLASS, and IMR essential
Excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills
Collaborative approach and ability to mentor junior team members
Desire to continue professional development (CII progression welcomed)
