We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Wood CNC Machinist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machinery to produce high-quality wood components to precise specifications.Key Responsibilities:
* Set up and operate CNC woodworking machines
* Program and adjust CNC machines (e.g. using CAD/CAM software)
* Read and interpret technical drawings and cutting lists
* Select appropriate materials and tooling for each job
* Monitor machine performance and ensure quality output
* Inspect finished products to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met
* Carry out routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:
* Proven experience operating CNC machines in a woodworking environment
* Knowledge of CAD/CAM software and CNC programming
* Ability to read and understand technical drawings
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Good problem-solving skills
* Understanding of health and safety procedures
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable Skills:
* Experience with edge banders, beam saws, or other woodworking machinery
* Knowledge of different wood types and materials
* Previous experience in furniture, joinery, or manufacturing industries
