Opnet Security Supervisor Incident & Vulnerability
Apply for the Opnet Security Supervisor Incident & Vulnerability role at QinetiQ, located at the Corsham site. You will lead incident response, vulnerability management and forensic processes within the SOC, ensuring effective delivery of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework’s Protect, Detect and Respond functions.
Responsibilities
* Integrate and optimise SIEM/SOAR tooling, manage threat intelligence and threat modelling while maintaining daily administration of security devices.
* Supervise and support SOC analysts and engineers, providing guidance during incident and crisis events, and contribute to hiring, training and performance management.
* Drive continuous improvement through new process development, ensuring alignment to reduce risk exposure.
* Ensure compliance with policies, processes and procedures while continuously improving workflows.
* Drive the development, optimisation and integration of SOC tools.
* Conduct threat management and modelling, including identifying threat vectors, mapping to adversaries and developing actionable use cases for security monitoring.
Essential Experience & Qualifications
* Working knowledge of and application of recognised frameworks, including NIST 800-12, 800-53, 800-37a, JSP 440 and JSP 604.
* Demonstrable experience of leadership and SOC management skills.
* Experience maintaining ISO security and risk controls in operational environments.
* Ability to use the MITRE ATT&CK adversarial framework to identify, map and counter attacker tactics, techniques and procedures.
* Ability to work closely with stakeholders and customers.
* Previous experience working in a SOC environment.

Employment Details
This role is 37 hours per week and based at Corsham. Hybrid working patterns are available, and travel to customer sites will be expected.
