What You'll Do:
* Patient Care: Ensure blood samples are collected safely and efficiently, maintaining the highest standards of care.
* Operational Support: Manage consumable stock levels to support the smooth operation of our services.
* Team Collaboration: Work alongside a dedicated team to deliver an efficient, high‑quality service to our patients.
Working Pattern
Monday to Friday, 8 am–12 pm or 12 pm–4 pm.
Other Requirements
Car driver essential as it would be required to cover community phlebotomy services.
Person Specification
Knowledge Requirements
* High levels of accuracy and organisational skills
* Good general education
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Understanding of patient needs and concerns
* Good levels of literacy and numeracy
* Knowledge of medical terminology
* Previous experience in a clinical environment
Further Training
* Ongoing venepuncture training
Contractual Requirements
* Cover colleagues when required
