Responsibilities
This role involves a mix of AR, Treasury, and AP core day-to-day tasks, with opportunities to engage in management accounts, process improvements, rebates, etc. It is based at our Maldon site on a hybrid basis (4 days per week in the office at Maldon, Essex).
1. Accounts Receivable Management:
* AR reporting and follow-up on aged debtor collections.
* Collaborate efficiently with Customer Care and Commercial Managers.
2. Treasury Responsibilities:
* Bank reconciliation.
* FX swaps & cash flow forecasting.
3. General Ledger Accounting: Support the Financial Controller in maintaining the accuracy of multiple financial ledgers.
4. Accounts Payable Responsibilities: Support AP processes, including invoice processing and payment runs.
5. Year-End Statutory Audit Support: Assist with statutory audit requirements.
6. Other Opportunities: Participate in projects related to personal growth and development, such as customer rebates, management accounting, reconciliations, and process improvements, involving internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
Part or fully qualified AAT preferred, with a minimum of 5 years' experience. Fluent in English. Manufacturing experience is desirable.
The successful candidate must be able to prove their right to work in the UK.
