We are looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our busy department catering for university clientele & conference delegates.
To work alongside existing kitchen staff to carry out daily kitchen activities, including aiding with deliveries & good received to distributing to various outlets. Assisting to maintain our 5-star food hygiene rating & general cleaning duties within a busy kitchen.
Some of the key responsibilities include;
1. Deliver requisitioned goods to all catering outlets and any other university department
2. Monitor and remove recycling refuse
3. Replenish all cleaning materials and disposable protective clothing as required
4. Report any maintenance issues with the catering office to ensure that repairs are carried out as needed
5. Assist with deliveries around campus and driving University vehicles
6. Assist with the maintenance & cleaning of catering vehicles when required
7. Help with basic food preparation when requested
8. Ensure all paperwork is completed as and when required
