We are looking for a highly capable and customer-focused Technical Project Manager to manage and deliver Microlise projects from inception through to successful implementation. This is a hands-on role where you will play a critical part in ensuring software quality, supporting customers, and delivering real business value through effective project execution.
You will act as a key point of contact for customers, working collaboratively to configure, implement, and optimise solutions while ensuring a high standard of service throughout the project lifecycle.

What you'll be doing
Manage and deliver projects effectively from initiation to completion, ensuring customer expectations are met.
Test and assure software quality prior to release, including interfaces with external systems.
Support customers through User Acceptance Testing, taking a proactive role in ensuring successful validation.
Lead customer preparation activities, including configuration workshops both pre- and post-installation.
Configure systems to meet customer requirements and deliver agreed business outcomes.
Support customers during implementation, including troubleshooting, problem resolution, and coordinating with development teams where required.
Deliver customer training on system functionality and usage.
Maintain clear and effective communication with both internal stakeholders and customers.
Diagnose, log, and manage issues through to resolution, escalating where appropriate.
Capture and document customer requirements in line with agreed processes.
What we're looking for
Experience working with Windows-based applications and Microsoft Office tools
Ability to understand technical data flows
Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
Working knowledge of SQL Server technologies in a commercial environment
Understanding of business environments and operational practices
IT background, ideally with exposure to logistics or mobile workforce systems
Previous experience with telematics systems and hardware is advantageous
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
Ability to build effective relationships across teams and stakeholders
Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven
High attention to detail and commitment to quality
Customer-focused approach with a continuous improvement mindset
Pragmatic, hands-on problem solver with a willingness to learn quickly
