Overview

2025 sees MoneyGram Haas F1 Team celebrate its tenth season in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship. We’re a racing team that challenges the status quo and invites you to join us. The first American Formula 1 team to compete in the sport since 1986, MoneyGram Haas F1 Team made a memorable points-scoring debut at the 2016 Australian Grand Prix and continues to grow with clear objectives, coming off its second-best season to date in Formula 1. We’re a team with three HQs – Kannapolis (US), Banbury (UK) and Maranello (Italy) – and a culture built on passion, loyalty and hard work. General Summary

This position reports to the Procurement Director or their designee; located in Maranello, Italy. Responsible for car parts procurement with close collaboration with the Project Management Office. Also responsible for supporting the Design Office requirements regarding bought-out services. Proactively ensures best practices are adopted and followed, and ensures timely delivery of quality parts and services within budget.


Key Responsibilities

* Promote teamwork and effective communications to develop working relationships between all personnel and departments.
* Follow procurement guidelines, policies and procedures, continually challenging cost, quality and lead time.
* Support the Procurement Director and their designee in ensuring individual tasks are completed in line with programme requirements.
* Compile agreements with external partners for internal submission and review within Haas F1; ensure adherence by both parties.
* Support project management of vendor-supplied projects requiring cross-functional collaboration.
* Forecast potential quality and delivery risks and implement corrective actions.
* Possess relevant engineering skills to determine supplier selection, understand manufacturing processes and negotiate costs.
* Provide feedback to engineering on changes to reduce cost or improve supply quality without negatively affecting the engineering function.
* Audit vendor capability, capacity and sustainability; consider solutions outside the existing motorsport community.
* Offer multiple supply options and select the optimum solution per situation.
* Develop and maintain relationships with parts vendors to obtain and purchase parts.
* Address invoice queries and liaise with the finance department to resolve them.
* Develop specifications for equipment and products.
* Support indirect procurement activities as required.
* Follow all safety regulations in all venues.
* Other duties as assigned by the Procurement Director or their designee.


Education and Work Experience

* High School diploma or equivalent required. Further education (apprenticeship or university degree) desired.
* 3 or more years of technical procurement experience including bought-out-to-drawing parts.
* Experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with time-critical deadlines.


Specialized Knowledge and Skills

* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Fluent Italian with excellent English proficiency.
* Strong technical background in engineering or manufacturing environments.
* Ability to translate Design Office requirements to suppliers for a range of commodities including composites and machined parts.
* Work to a consistently high standard in dynamic, time-sensitive situations.
* Quick decision-making in scientific and analytical problem-solving contexts.
* Team-oriented and collaborative with colleagues at all levels.
* Friendly, proactive attitude and willingness to help others.


Equipment and Applications

* Microsoft Office 365 suite (Excel, SharePoint, Teams, Power BI).
* Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365).
* Ability to navigate PLM systems (e.g., Dassault Systèmes 3DX).


Work Environment and Physical Demands

Ability to work in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment with occasional domestic and international travel. Willingness to work long and flexible hours, including weekends. May require lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, squatting and manual dexterity. Work involves machinery, race cars, 7-post rigs, grinding debris and hazardous fluids. All employees must comply with the Company Health and Safety Policy and relevant safety legislation.
