* Salary: You’ll start on a salary between £23,600 to £25,000, this will increase to £26,500 approx 6 months post joining (Q2, 2026)
* Working hours: Full time, 36 hours per week
* Office attendance: You will be office-based during your probation period. Following this, you will follow our hybrid working model, attending the office 2 days per week.
Role and responsibilities
* Engage with Savings and Loans customers via inbound and outbound calls, assisting with account openings, fund transfers, digital banking and more.
* Resolve customer queries and complaints with excellent customer experience, taking ownership from initial call to resolution.
* Adapt quickly to a busy call centre environment while maintaining high service standards.
* Document customer interactions, issues, and resolutions accurately in our systems.
* Educate customers on the full range of products and services; training provided to become a Tesco Bank product expert.
What you will be responsible for
* Using listening and relationship-building skills to provide outstanding customer service
* Managing high call volumes while delivering a positive customer experience
* Communicating across channels; predominantly inbound calls with occasional outbound calls
* Guiding customers to resolution with sound judgement and available tools
* Understanding customer circumstances to provide personalized solutions
We need you to have
* Customer service experience, ideally in a call centre; transferable skills from retail, hospitality, or other customer-facing roles are valued
* Strong communication and active listening, empathy, resilience, and ability to handle complex interactions
* Confidence using technology including Microsoft Office and multiple systems in a fast-paced environment
* Understanding of Tesco Bank values: customer focus, respectful treatment, and contributing to improvement

* Experience in financial services or regulated environments
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
Where you will be working
You’ll begin with on-site training, moving into a graduate bay before joining your team as an office-based colleague. Once you reach full competency, you can apply for remote working under our ‘Moments that Matter’ model, which allows you to work from home while attending key office events.
