Join a leading and supportive law firm with an excellent reputation in residential property law. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and client-focused Residential Conveyancer to play a key role in our dynamic conveyancing team. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity offering fantastic breadth of work and opportunities to advance.

Key Responsibilities in Residential Conveyancing

* Independently manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and transfers of equity (covering both freehold and leasehold properties), plus wider complex matters and transactions.
* Conduct comprehensive due diligence on title documentation, searches, and all legal paperwork to ensure compliance with the latest regulations and best practice standards.
* Liaise professionally with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, solicitors, and other stakeholders, providing clear and timely updates at all stages of the conveyancing process.
* Draft, review, and finalise contracts, transfer deeds, completion statements, and other relevant documentation in line with SRA and CQS requirements.
* Efficiently manage exchange and completion, resolve queries and requisitions, and handle all post-completion formalities including Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) submissions and Land Registry applications.
* Deliver exceptional client care throughout, fostering positive relationships and ensuring a seamless property transaction experience.
* Contribute actively to a collaborative conveyancing team and share knowledge to support continuous improvement and high-quality outcomes.

Essential Skills, Experience, and Knowledge for a Residential Conveyancer

* Proven experience managing a full residential conveyancing caseload from instruction to completion and registration with minimal supervision.
* Up-to-date knowledge of residential conveyancing law, SRA and AML compliance, and the Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS).
* Strong organisational abilities with the capability to manage deadlines and competing priorities across multiple conveyancing files.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable providing clear advice to clients and building relationships with professionals at all levels.
* Proficiency using conveyancing case management software and standard office IT systems.

This firm is well established as a specialist in residential and commercial property law, dedicated to technical excellence and client satisfaction. They believe in investing in their employees, valuing ideas, and promoting opportunities for all.
