Who You Are You are a dedicated and experienced professional with a strong background in housing maintenance, project management, and development. You possess a recognized property/construction-related qualification at degree level or equivalent significant workplace experience. You are committed to providing high-quality service and have a robust technical knowledge in planned and reactive maintenance, particularly within the housing sector. You are a strategic thinker with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively, both within your team and with external partners. What the job involves The role involves contributing significantly to the effective planned and reactive maintenance of RBK housing building and compliance projects. You will work closely with the Group Manager and other Lead Officers to deliver an exceptional repairs and maintenance service for residents, the service, and the council. You are responsible for full line management and development of the Project Support Officer and other team members, managing and monitoring performance indicators, and ensuring project and budget adherence. Your responsibilities also include leading the procurement and contract management of consultants, handling customer queries, and preparing technical and business documentation for senior management. Additionally, you ensure statutory requirements are met and continuously strive for service improvement and efficiency.
