Sayjo Recruitment Ltd are acting on behalf of a client, to recruit a B2B Business Development Manager / Renewable Energy Sector Our client is a well-established distributor of renewable energy products, based in Yorkshire. They sell Solar PV, Inverters, Battery Storage, EV Chargers and associated products. They are looking for a motivated, professional Business Development Manager with industry knowledge and experience. The successful candidate will cover the North of England / Scotland, supporting the internal account managers with face-to-face meeting with existing customers and targeting new business. Our client, has an excellent reputation for providing quality products and added value services, like training, design and technical support. They have excellent marketing material, and an excellent internal sales support team, to help the appointed candidate achieve success in this role, by supporting them and offering a first-class service to their new customers. Responsibilities: * To promote renewable energy products to Installers and other key buyers in the North of England /Scotland * Splitting your time between effective account management and targeting new business * Build excellent relationships with existing customers, regularly visiting them to develop and nurture their account to maximise the business. * Network via events, referrals, existing contacts, social media, etc… to open new doors and win new business. * Produce professional quotes and sell the added benefits of the business. * Manage your own diary, making appointments and calls to generate orders. * Work remotely from a home office, providing weekly sales reports to the sales director. * Willingness to travel to head office from time to time and support various exhibitions around the UK. Requirements: * At least 3 years previous experience in a similar role within renewable energy industry. * Ideally, pervious experience of working for a distributor of solar PV / battery storage. * Technically capable of understanding the products we sell and able to support clients with enquiries. * UK Driving License * Willingness to travel for work (covering North of England & Scotland) * Willingness to travel to Head Office in Yorkshire from time to time for team meetings, events, training and also travel to exhibitions around the UK etc… * Our client is looking for a self-motivated team player who is confident, professional, has a friendly personality, is well presented and personable.
