Known for their unwavering dedication to quality, they collaborate closely with clients to transform innovative ideas into reality, all while ensuring projects stay within budget and on schedule.\n\nThe Project \n\nAs a highly experienced Project Manager, you will play a crucial role overseeing a wide range of retail and leisure fit out projects for high-profile clients such as TK Maxx, O2, Primark, WHSmith and Sainsbury's, valued from £100k - £1m, based in Swindon, Wiltshire.

Your role will involve managing all stages of the projects, ensuring effective stakeholder communication, and guaranteeing the smooth and successful handover of each project.\n\nRequirements \n\nFor this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;\n\nPassport\nFull UK driving licenseIt is also essential that you hold the experience below;\n\nA strong history of operating as a Project Manager within the retail fit out sector\nExtensive background within the industry with at least 5 years of experience working in a similar position on various retail and leisure projects with values from £100k - £1m\nMust be willing to travel all over UK and NI and willing to stay away on occasionAdditional skills;\n\nKnowledgeable of construction laws and regulations\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail\nA proficient understanding of construction materials, methods, and techniques\nProficient in project management software, industry-specific tools, and relevant technical expertiseThe Role\n\nJob Title: Project Manager\nJob Type: Permanent\nProject: Various retail and leisure fit out projects\nLocation: UK\nReporting to: Associate DirectorDuties\n\nServe as the primary liaison for project updates\nConduct safety evaluations and site inspections\nReview the pricing provided by the Cost Manager\nEnsure on-site compliance with health and safety regulations\nIdentify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies\nManage project timelines, budgets, and outcomes from start to finish\nParticipate in client meetings to build and sustain strong relationships\nGenerate and submit valuations to the finance team for invoicing purposes\nEstablish milestones and deadlines, ensuring tasks are efficiently scheduled\nIdentify and address budget discrepancies, implementing adjustments as necessary\nEnsure the fulfillment of all contractual obligations and address any issues that arise\nMaintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and records\nEstablish quality control procedures and perform regular inspections and assessments\nCreate and oversee project budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure financial control\nDevelop detailed project plans that define the scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables\nEnsure all project deliverables comply with the defined quality standards and specifications\nOversee resources to ensure their efficient and effective use in achieving project objectives\nCollect quantity data from site teams and communicate the information to the Cost Manager\nPromote a cooperative and efficient team environment, swiftly addressing any conflicts or issues\nLead, inspire, and manage project teams, delegating tasks according to individual skills and expertise\nMonitor project performance and progress, making necessary adjustments to keep the project on track\nCoordinate and oversee contract negotiations and management with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors\nCoordinate regular meetings and manage communication to ensure transparency and encourage collaboration\nOversee any changes to the project scope, timeline, or budget, ensuring they are documented and approved appropriately\nProvide leadership and guidance to project teams, foster collaboration, and motivate team members to achieve project goalsThis is a permanent position with an excellent salary on offer for the successful candidate.
