Job Description
You will be responsible for managing a small team of support workers, conducting and documenting care plans and risk assessments, staff supervisions, appraisals, and team meetings. You will also work with our Service Manager in supporting the best outcomes for customers and staff, ensuring that excellent services are delivered. 80% of the role will be on shift carrying out Support Worker duties which will involve personal care, outings with service users – all physical and adventurous activities and holidays with service users, assisting with general household tasks, doctor/hospital visits.
Qualifications
* Experience in a similar role in the care sector is desirable.
* Experience with learning disabilities is essential.
* A current member of the PVG scheme or willing to register.
* Registered with SSSC or be prepared to register.
