Responsibilities
* Work with students across all years within the school who require extra support in the classroom.
* Teach Citizenship, PSHE and History as part of the curriculum.
* Deliver inspiring and motivating lessons to help students reach their greatest potential.
* Organise and facilitate a stimulating and motivating learning environment.
* Collaborate with a welcoming, close-knit team; co-plan assignments to ensure best practices and consistency across classrooms.
* Assist with planning and sourcing resources to support student learning.
* Support a collaborative school community that values teamwork and uniform practice in all classrooms.

Qualifications and Requirements
* QTS or PGCE with SEN experience.
* Ability to teach the required material and plan multiple lessons ahead for various year groups.
* Familiarity with the current curriculum and understanding of student support needs before class to help students meet term goals.
* Ability to implement behavioural and emotional management strategies to support teaching and learning, including pupils with special educational needs and disabilities.
* Experience delivering differentiated, engaging learning opportunities and therapeutic interventions for individuals and small groups with diverse and complex needs, including social, emotional and mental health needs and school avoidance, using a primary model of teaching.

All pay rates quoted are inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position; in some cases, there may be an option to make this role permanent at a later date.
