What you’ll be doing As an Apprentice Quantity Surveyor, you’ll learn how to manage costs, prepare estimates, and oversee contracts while gaining hands-on experience on a variety of construction projects. Working closely with senior surveyors and project teams, you will gain experience both on-site and, in the office, while also studying towards your degree. The role offers a strong foundation in the commercial aspects of construction and helps develop key skills in communication, negotiation, and analytical thinking. What we are looking for Meets UCAS point requirements for the associated degree course Achieved or predicted A Level grades BBC (or equivalent) are typically required, although certain apprenticeship programmes may specify BBB or higher Minimum 5 GCSEs (Grades A–C / 5–9), including Maths, English, and Science Proficient in Microsoft Office and general IT skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Holds a UK Driving Licence or is actively working towards obtaining one The apprenticeship programme: You will start your Degree Apprenticeship in September 2026, attending a local University one day a week and working towards achieving a full undergraduate degree. The apprenticeship supports career growth through blended learning. It offers business and role-specific training, mentoring, and practical experience. It includes an induction, training days, on-the-job learning, and access to readily available resources. Together with the support from your team, we will work closely with you over the course of your apprenticeship to support and plan a development pathway that suits you. A Degree Apprenticeship usually takes between 5-6 years to complete, including End Point Assessment.
