Production Supervisor

£37,000 - £38,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Metalis are currently working with a specialist manufacturer, who are looking for a Production Supervisor to join their team.
Responsibilities
* Supervise, lead and motivate all employees within own team to achieve daily targets
* Conduct daily shift meetings
* Oversee daily shift activities and monitor performance
* Work closely with the Operations manager and other members of the senior team to continually develop strategies
* Develop and promote a culture of continuous improvement
* Planning, scheduling and reviewing workload to ensure production output, quality and on time delivery targets are achieved
* Deal with absences, grievances, disciplinaries and other HR duties
* Implementation and adherence to Health and Safety procedures encouraging "safety first" culture
Qualifications
* 5 years' experience in a manufacturing or production management role
* Hold relevant engineering qualifications
* Knowledge of CNC Turning and Milling (essential)
* Experience of automation and machine tools
Salary, Shift & Benefits
* £37,000 - £38,000 per annum (depending on experience)
* Monday to Thursday, 8:30am to 5:30pm & Friday 8:30am - 3pm (flexi hours available)
