I'm on the lookout for a motivated and ambitious Town Planner with 0–4 years of experience to join our growing in-house planning team. You’ll be working across a diverse range of residential development projects, helping to turn land into thriving, sustainable communities.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Supporting the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals
* Monitoring and interpreting local plans, planning policy, and housing supply data
* Assisting in the planning strategy for new land acquisitions
* Liaising with local authorities, consultants, and internal departments (Land, Technical, Design)
* Supporting community engagement and public consultation processes
* Preparing reports, site appraisals, and planning statements
* Contributing to pre-application discussions and planning committee meetings
What We’re Looking For
* A degree in Town Planning, Urban Studies, Geography or a related field (RTPI accredited or working towards accreditation)
* 0–4 years of experience in planning – ideally in a local authority, consultancy, or developer environment
* A solid understanding of the UK planning system
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* A proactive mindset, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks
* A genuine interest in residential development and place-making
