TXM Recruit is working in partnership with a well-established manufacturing organisation to recruit an experienced Operations Manager for their site in Normanton. This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for site operations, offering the opportunity to drive operational excellence, continuous improvement, and team performance within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The Role As Operations Manager, you will lead all on-site operational activities including production, planning, and plant maintenance. You will play a key role in delivering against customer requirements while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards. Reporting to the Group Operations and Supply Chain Director, you will be instrumental in shaping operational strategy and supporting long-term business growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and coordinate all site operations, including manufacturing, production planning, and maintenance
2. Drive operational strategy, annual budgeting, capacity planning, and cost-efficiency initiatives
3. Ensure production schedules are delivered safely, on time, and to quality standards
4. Promote a strong health, safety, and environmental culture across the site
