Protocol Education is seeking a confident and proactive Behaviour Mentor to support pupils within a specialist alternative provision setting.
The school supports students who may have experienced barriers to education, including SEMH needs, trauma, adverse childhood experiences, and behavioural challenges.
Responsibilities:
* Supporting pupils both inside and outside the classroom
* Delivering behaviour intervention strategies
* Promoting positive attitudes towards learning
* Assisting pupils with emotional wellbeing
* Supporting reintegration into education where appropriate
* Liaising with teaching and safeguarding teams
Working Hours:
* Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 4:00pm
* Friday: 8:30am – 3:15pm
Ideal Candidate:
* Background in youth work, sports coaching, mentoring or care
* Excellent communication skills
* Calm and professional approach
* Ability to build positive relationships
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
