Japanese Speaking Strategy & Business Development - Responsibilities:
Strategy Planning & Management
* Support projects related to the mid-term management plan, contributing to corporate value enhancement.
* Plan, coordinate, and drive transformation initiatives in Europe, including organizational development, business development, talent development, and talent utilization.
* Monitor and lead managerial issues across the European organization.
Project Management
* Ensure project goals are achieved and aligned with objectives.
* Prepare project initiation documents, detailed plans, and progress reports.
* Coordinate effective meetings, follow up on decisions, and propose corrective actions as needed.
* Manage stakeholder communications and respond to change requests.
Business Development & Transformation Support
* Assist in preparing documentation for investment decisions.
* Support business development, M&A processes, and marketing activities as required.
Japanese Speaking Strategy & Business Development - Requirements:
Essential
* Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, project management, or equivalent experience
* Proven experience in strategic planning, consultancy, or project management in a multinational environment
* Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to work within budgets, analyse numerical data, and make cost-effective decisions
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive)
* Experience preparing reports and presentations for diverse audiences
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Japanese
* Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to prioritise tasks effectively
* Reliable team player committed to achieving objectives
* Skilled at building strong relationships internally and externally
Desirable
* Knowledge of the shipping or logistics industry
* Experience in project management or corporate transformation projects
* Strong presentation design and delivery skills
