Overview
We are the Kent and Medway Mental Health NHS Trust, delivering comprehensive mental health care to over 2,000 patients in hospitals and 54,000 in community each year. This role delivers the Clinical Care Pathways in Kent and Medway Mental Health NHS Trust, implementing evidence‑based, psychologically informed, manualised clinical interventions across Secondary Care Mental Health Services. The successful candidate will support the CMHT by delivering brief interventions, co‑facilitating therapy groups, and working under the supervision of qualified psychological practitioners.
Responsibilities
* Deliver direct clinical work through manualised psychologically informed structured interventions to adults with mental health difficulties within the community and recovery service line.
* Provide initial interventions to people accessing adult mental health services as part of the Clinical Care Pathways in the CMHT, receiving specific and target‑ed training and weekly clinical supervision from qualified psychological practitioners.
* Undertake additional structured therapeutic psychological interventions in identified services, using independent initiative within guidelines set by a qualified psychologist.
* Manage clinically and service performance‑related administration, audit and research projects, teach and lead service improvement activities under the professional guidance of a qualified psychologist.
Qualifications
* Honours degree in Psychology.
* Interest in pursuing a career within a related psychological field.
