Job Description
As Finance Manager, you will oversee the entity reporting for a growing, profitable division within the business. You will be responsible for looking after a small team of 2, the monthly reporting, working capital analysis, local audit and forecasting and budgeting for the entity.

My client is a private-equity backed Manufacturing business in the Greater Manchester area. The business received investment a couple of years ago and has gone from strength to strength under the leadership of the CFO and with the growth internationally.
Description
* Responsible for monthly reporting of P&L, Balance Sheet and cashflow for the entity in line with monthly timetable
* Clear articulation of revenue recognition in accordance with project accounting guidelines as agreed by the auditors
* Clear communication of revenue versus cash cycles to the team and Group Finance Director
* Accurate working capital analysis and management of stock and aged debtor
* Ownership of 13-week rolling cashflow forecasting process for review with the CFO.
* Ensure the entity follows Group Accounting policies and reporting of management accounts is in accordance with UK FRS 102.
* Monthly Balance Sheet reviews with GFD.
* Control over intercompany balances including the impact on cash and recoverability
* Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all management information and group reporting.
* Lead the budget process for the entity ensuring group objectives are matched and the team has a clear plan on how to deliver it
* Prepare quarterly reforecast updates factoring the latest expectations on sales and costs
* Supervise the tasks of 2 experienced Accounts Assistants to ensure accuracy and timeliness
Profile
The successful Finance Manager should have:
* CIMA, ACCA and ACA Qualified
* Advanced Excel skills.
* Manufacturing experience preferred.
* 1 to 3 years post qual experience
* Attention to detail
* Strong communication skills
