About the role
We are recruiting for an Accounts Payable Clerk on behalf of our client. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team within a leading global manufacturer. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the accounts payable function.
Key Responsibilities for the Accounts Payable Clerk include:
Process all direct and indirect invoices
Liaise with Purchasing to ensure timely approval of invoices
Manage payment runs
Process all intercompany invoices
Run daily GRNI report
Reconcile AP accounts at month end
Perform supplier reconciliations
Handle ad-hoc tasks as required
About You:
The Accounts Payable Clerk will have a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You should be able to work independently as well as part of a team and have excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with various departments.
Other requirements include:
Previous experience in an accounts payable or similar finance role
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
