Who You Are We’re looking for passionate individuals who: Hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent Have experience supporting young people aged 16-25 Understand safeguarding, risk management, and child development Can work flexibly, including occasional evening work Are confident working across agencies and cultural contexts Have knowledge and experience in trauma-informed practice Have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle What the Job Involves As a Leaving Care Worker, you will: Provide holistic one-to-one support for care-experienced young people aged 16-25 Build trusted relationships and offer tailored wellbeing support Design and deliver wellbeing activities to promote self-esteem and resilience Promote mental health awareness and support transitions to independence Advocate for young people’s needs in multi-agency meetings Build community connections and monitor progress Safeguard and respond to risk, working closely with social care and health professionals Contribute to service development and travel locally and nationally for visits Skills NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent Experience with young people aged 16-25 Understanding of safeguarding and risk management Inter-agency collaboration skills Knowledge of trauma-informed practice Flexible working capability Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle
