The Role:
You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe, compliant, accurate, and efficient operation of the site's weighbridge function. As the initial point of contact for all visitors and site users, you will be responsible for managing and controlling access, weighbridge operation, data recording and management, and supporting site traffic management.
This position also involves ensuring adherence to health and safety, as well as environmental procedures, while maintaining compliance with environmental and planning requirements. In addition to weighbridge responsibilities, you will contribute to site operations through various general operative duties, including cleaning and plant operation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate the weighbridge efficiently and accurately.
* Manage and control access for all visitors and site users.
* Record and manage data related to weighbridge operations.
* Support site traffic management to ensure smooth operations.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.
* Maintain environmental compliance and adhere to planning requirements.
* Perform general operative duties to support overall site operations.
* Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
* Work with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards.
The Candidate
* Weighbridge experience ideal
* Forklift background ideal, not essential
* Familiarity with administration systems.
* Worked within manufacturing/construction, heavy industry ideal
* A good level of general education, including proficiency in Maths and English.
* Excellent customer service skills to interact effectively with visitors and site users.
* The ability to work with minimal supervision.
