Assistant Centre Manager
Protyre Autocare are looking for a hands‑on, dynamic and commercially focused Assistant Centre Manager to join our growing team. We are a fast‑growing national automotive company offering superb training and development opportunities.
Location: Protyre Taunton
Pay: £30,000 – £32,000 per year plus bonus
Work Location: In person
Job Type: Full‑time
About the role
* Assist the Centre Manager in the operation and daily running of the depot
* Support the team in the workshop mechanistically if required
* Play a key part in the Centre targets, including key performance indicators
* Oversee the maintenance of stock values within the centre
* Offer and deliver excellent customer service
* Ensure all work is carried out in line with Company Policies and Procedures
About you
* Technical or mechanical background/knowledge
* Ability to support the technicians in the workshop if required
* Excellent interpersonal skills and desire to coach and mentor the team
* Previous experience leading a team
* High level of understanding of car technology
* Working knowledge of relevant Health & Safety requirements
* Experience of account management
* Commercial awareness to maximise business opportunities
* Full UK Driving Licence (clean, held for at least 6 months)
