Key Responsibilities: Represent the Science Department as a professional Science Teacher or Science Instructor. Plan, mark, and deliver Science lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils. Create and deliver engaging and innovative Science lessons that cater to a diverse range of learning styles and abilities. Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment in the classroom to instil a love for Science. Inspire and motivate students to achieve academic excellence and support their progress and development. Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and comprehensive Science curriculum. Utilise modern teaching methods, technology, and practical experiments to enhance learning experiences. Encourage student participation in extracurricular Science activities and competitions. Requirements: At least 1-2 years of teaching experience as a Science Teacher. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant teaching qualification. Expertise in teaching Science to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students (Key Stage 5 experience is a bonus). A passion for science and a deep understanding of scientific principles. Strong communication skills, both in the classroom and with colleagues and parents. Dedication to continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest educational practises.
