A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a passionate Science Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Blackburn for the new academic year, starting September 2025. The successful candidate will teach Science across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, inspiring students to explore the wonders of the scientific world and develop a strong foundation in scientific knowledge and inquiry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to drive improvement
* Encourage a love for science through innovative teaching practices
* Contribute to extracurricular activities, including science clubs and events
* Foster an inclusive, supportive environment where students are motivated to excel
Qualifications and Experience:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching Science in a secondary school setting
* Strong classroom management and communication skills
* A passion for science and helping students develop critical thinking skills
