The SeniorOccupational Therapist within the Social Care Occupational Therapy Service willhave professional responsibility for the support and supervision of qualifiedand unqualified team members, commensurate with their grade. They will also have responsibility forassessment of people with a disability and provision of the appropriaterecommendations in order to assist in the Departments statutory obligationsunder current legislation. This mayinclude advice, provision of equipment, adaptations to the home and/or referralto other agencies. The SeniorOccupational Therapist will be responsible for the management of their owncaseload, and supporting team members in the management of their caseloads.
