They’re writing the rules for how motion works across their portfolio – and as their Junior Motion Designer, you'll help define those standards rather than inherit a locked system. This is rare territory for a junior role: creative input from day one, working alongside a Senior Motion Designer and Creative Director who defend creative standards and invest in developing their team. The organisation has recently secured its largest European deal to date with a global manufacturer – momentum that translates into ambitious briefs and proper budgets.
The Role
You'll produce motion design, animation, film edits and 3D renders across nine distinct brands serving manufacturers, fleets and retailers. The variety accelerates growth faster than single-brand work: social content one day, event films the next, with audiences and creative challenges constantly shifting.
You'll cut footage, add lower thirds, handle audio sync and colour grading. You'll prepare rough cuts and storyboards for stakeholder reviews. Working directly with the Senior Motion Designer, you'll develop the team's motion principles and create 3D models when required.
The Package
* £28,000 - £32,000
* Hybrid working – two days onsite
* Birthday off, wellbeing days, volunteer days
* Healthcare plan & life assurance
* Holiday purchase scheme
* Cycle-to-work scheme
The Person
A Designer 1 – 2 years into their career, likely junior level at a small-to-mid agency or recently graduated with commercial experience. You've been doing motion work but want more ownership and involvement in the creative process rather than pure execution tasks.
