Job Overview

Location: London (Hybrid – office, client site, and remote flexibility)

Salary: £40,000 – £55,000 base + commission

Package: Pension, travel allowance, and performance incentives

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our dynamic team at ChannelServe. Our pioneering mobile signal-optimising technology solves one of the most pressing challenges in modern construction: indoor mobile coverage blocked by energy-efficient glass.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the London market and identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with potential clients, and driving sales growth.

Success in this role requires a proactive approach to market research, consultative selling, and stakeholder engagement across construction, real estate, and Commercial sectors.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

* Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, projects, and business opportunities within construction, real estate, Healthcare, Government and Commercial .
* Generate and qualify leads, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract close.
* Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients, showcasing Channelserves Coverage solution and value.
* Negotiate commercial terms and close deals to meet and exceed sales targets.

Client Relationships

* Develop and maintain strong relationships with architects, Property Managers, developers, and system integrator partners.
* Engage clients with regular communication and follow-ups to nurture long-term partnerships.
* Act as a trusted advisor, helping clients solve mobile coverage challenges.

Collaboration & Strategy

* Collaborate with the marketing partner to create strategies that enhance brand visibility and attract new customers.
* Work closely with technical teams to define tailored solutions that meet customer needs.
* Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote ChannelServe and establish connections.
* Analyse sales data and market trends to inform decision-making and strategy development.

Process & Tools

* Utilise and develop the CRM tools to track leads, manage client interactions, and report on sales activities.
* Maintain accurate pipeline forecasts and contribute to regular sales reviews.

Skills & Experience

Essential

* Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably within construction, building products, telecoms/connectivity, or real estate technology.
* Strong background in consultative selling with multi-stakeholder decision processes.
* Proficiency in CRM software for effective pipeline and client management.
* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to engage and influence diverse audiences.
* Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
* Proactive, resilient, and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Preferred

* Experience selling smart building solutions, glazing systems, or in-building connectivity (DAS, small cells, 5G/TETRA solutions).
* Existing network of contacts within construction or property management Sectors.
* Familiarity with sustainability goals and compliance standards in modern construction.
* Experience navigating construction procurement processes and influencing at the design/specification stage.
