We are seeking a talented and motivated Management Accountant to join our Head Office finance team. The role will be based in Brighton-Le-Sands and will be overseeing a portfolio of 7 assets. This role requires monthly travel to Tamworth and Cairns. Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, this full-time role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic environment where no two days are the same. What You’ll Be Doing
Management accounting responsibilities:
- Performing end-of-month calculations, postings, analysis, and reporting.
- Conducting balance sheet reconciliations.
- Analysing revenue and reconciling related accounts.
- Overseeing the transactional accounting and related postings.
- Assisting with audits, tax preparations, and end-of-financial-year tasks.
Financial Planning & Analysis tasks:
- Supporting various system configurations and implementations.
- Contributing to budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Gathering and analysing data and creating financial models.
- Preparing ad hoc reports for both internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience
- 3+ years’ experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Working towards or completed CPA/CA qualification.
- Experience in hospitality or property industry is not essential but will be favorable.
- Intermediate or advanced MS Excel skills.
- Exposure to trust accounts, mid-tier ERP system, Point-of-sale systems and understanding of merchant services will be looked upon favorably.
