Mechanical Design Engineer
Compeittive Salary + Monday to Friday (37.5 Hours) + Flexible Start/Finish (8/4 or 9/5)+ Training + Progression + Bonus

Excellent opportunity for a Design Engineer to join a growing business offering a hands-on role with full involvement from concept through to manufacture.
This role would suit someone with experience using 3D CAD who is looking to work in a practical environment, closely linked to production and manufacturing.
The company are well established and continue to see strong demand, leading to expansion within the design team to support ongoing projects and future growth.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing components, producing detailed drawings, and supporting production. You will work closely with various departments including procurement, fabrication, and the shop floor to ensure designs are practical and fit for manufacture.
This is a varied position offering a mix of design, problem solving, and hands-on involvement, with the opportunity to further develop your skills within a supportive and forward-thinking team.
The Role
3D CAD design using SolidWorks (or similar)
Producing drawings and new part designs
Liaising with shop floor, fabrication and suppliers
Working on projects from concept through to build
The Person
Experience with 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred)
Background in mechanical / product / design engineering
Understanding of manufacturing processes
Any knowledge of DriveWorks, FEA or basic coding advantageousBBBH(phone number removed)
