and main responsibilities
1. Support the maintenance and development of the highest standards of patient-focused care in the provision of aseptic services to all patients at UHD.
2. Participate in the education and training of pharmacists, technicians & assistants in aseptic services
3. Line manage and appraise junior members of the team and support the training and development of Pharmacy Technicians, Aseptic Services Technicians and Assistants working within the aseptic unit
4. Support the effective use of resources, including medicines, within the aseptic unit to minimise wastage.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
5. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Pharmaceutical Science and BTEC in Pharmacy Services
6. Registration to The General Pharmaceutical Council
7. Pre and In Process Checking
8. Accredited Checking Technician ACT/PAAP
Desirable criteria
9. TSET
10. Internal aseptic training
Experience
Essential criteria
11. Worked in pharmacy & aseptics
12. Extensive knowledge of aseptics
13. Basic management experience
14. Good knowledge of hospital cancer service
15. Good experience in delivering education and training to a variety of staff
16. Good experience of undertaking change with in a pharmacy team
Desirable criteria
17. Experience of delivering cancer services
Technical Skills Competencies
Essential criteria
18. Neat, accurate, numerate
19. Basic I.T. skills
Desirable criteria
20. Experience using electronic prescribing
21. Knowledge of WellSky/Clinichemo/Mosaiq software
