We are seeking a passionate and skilled Design Technology Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Leyland on a full-time, fixed-term basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or a motivated Early Career Teacher (ECT) to make an impact within a supportive and dynamic learning environment.
* Deliver engaging and practical DT lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students
* Teach across specialisms including Resistant Materials, Product Design, or Graphics (depending on experience)
* Plan and assess student progress in line with national curriculum standards
* Promote creativity, problem-solving, and technical skills in a safe workshop environment
* Work collaboratively with colleagues in the DT department and wider school staff
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* A specialism in Design Technology or a related subject
* Experience teaching DT at secondary level (KS3/KS4)
* Strong classroom and workshop management skills
* A commitment to safeguarding and inspiring student success
