As a project management assistant, you will provide vital support to the project management team in the close out of the civils portfolio in accordance with Project Acceleration in a Controlled Environment (PACE), Network Rail’s company standards, and all current applicable legislation including CDM Regulations.

About the Role

Every day will be different, but you will join our dynamic project team and play a key role in delivering high-quality projects on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and environmental standards. * Lead stakeholder reviews to verify that received H&S and As-Built records are accurate, complete and aligned with approved DDMs before submission to NRG.
* Oversee HSQE compliance, ensuring all necessary risk assessments are in place and recorded formally, ensuring prevailing risks are captured within the H&S file and clearly articulated on As Built drawings.
* Ensure contractor performance aligns with expectations, contribute to maintaining a safe working environment, and manage site-specific working methods and risk assessments.
* Track and report file acceptance from NRG, ensuring timely updates that align with KPIs.
* Capture and share lessons learned from completed projects to drive continuous improvement across the portfolio.

Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, we would like you to have:

* Some management experience including project management.
* Educated to HND/HNC or similar standard, preferably within Civil Engineering.
* HSQE awareness, issues and principles.
