Responsibilities
* Design and deliver inclusive, high-quality lessons.
* Create engaging learning materials tailored to diverse learner needs.
* Provide clear, constructive feedback to support learner progress.
* Support learner development
* Guide academic and personal development through tutorials and pastoral care.
* Maintain accurate records of learner progress and engagement.
* Keep course content current and aligned with industry standards.
* Contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance processes.
* Collaborate with colleagues and external partners to enrich the learner experience.
* Deliver undergraduate modules in dance practice, theory, and research at Level 4, Level 5 and Level 6.
* Lead practical studio-based sessions across diverse dance styles.
* Supervise student research projects and dissertations.
* Contribute to curriculum development, module leadership, and assessment processes including exam boards and liaising with External Examiners.
* Support students pastorally and academically, fostering an inclusive learning environment.
* Participate in departmental events, outreach activities, and public performances.
* Engage in scholarly activity, creative practice, or research in the field of dance.
* Maintain professional links with the wider dance and performance industry.
* Promote and uphold safeguarding, equality, and health and safety policies.

Qualifications
* A relevant subject qualification (e.g. degree or equivalent).
* A recognised teaching qualification.
* Level 2 English and Maths (e.g. GCSE grade C/4 or equivalent).
* The ability to plan and deliver effective, inclusive teaching for diverse learners.
* Knowledge of subject-specific pedagogy and current teaching practices in further or higher education.
* Clear communication and strong organisational skills.
* Confidence using digital tools to support learning.
* A commitment to safeguarding, equality, and ongoing professional development.
