Come and join our Corporate Partnerships team!I have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Corporate PartnershipsFundraiser within our Income Generation team. This role will see you workingwith a variety of businesses, large and small, local, national and eventmultinational companies across our catchment area. You will be helping companies to understandthe impact of their support, using stories to engage with contacts at alllevels and helping to support them with events, challenges, sponsorship andvolunteering. You will also have the opportunity to come up with new ideas toengage and build the support of our corporate partners. Its a fun and variedrole and no two weeks are the same, so youll need to bring lots of energy tothe position!I am looking to appoint an enthusiastic and passionate individual who is greatat communicating and confident at building relationships with our corporatesupporters as well as internally within Phyllis Tuckwell.
Main duties of the job
A fulldriving licence and car is required for this position.
The successful candidate will:
* Haveexperience working within corporate charity partnerships or a commercialbusiness development account management environment with transferablerelationship management skills.

Tocontribute to meeting the income targets for Corporate Partnerships and thewider income streams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1.PROFESSIONAL
CorporateRelationships
1.1 Support the Corporate PartnershipsManager in managing, stewarding and developing all corporate partnerships andsupporting corporate partners in their fundraising activities.
1.2 To lead the stewardship/ relationshipmanagement for a number of current partnerships, as designated by the CPM, tomaximise the revenue and added value benefits from each partner. To proactivelycontact and visit each partner as needed.
1.3 Beresponsible for maintaining regular communications with our corporatesupporters including, newsletters, thank you letters etc, keeping appropriaterecords of all communication.
1.4 To be a representative for PT out in thecommunity, attending meetings, cheque presentations, forums and other outsideevents as necessary and ensure your actions and attitudes displayed reflect theprofessional and high reputations of the charity at all times.
1.5 Ensure that the Phyllis Tuckwellsupporter database, Raisers Edge, is kept up to date with accurate record ofcorporate partners and their relationship and communications with the charity.Work with the Database Manager to identify best practise for recordinginformation and interrogating data.
1.6 Oversee and manage Corporate Volunteerinitiatives, working with Retail, Voluntary Services, Estates, IncomeGeneration and Clinical teams. Ensure corporate volunteers and PT staff arefully briefed and volunteers gain the most from the opportunity with a view togenerate income.
1.7 Support the CPM to ensure that allrelevant processes including due diligence and Corporate Partnership, Commercial Participator Agreements are in place and kept up to date.
1.8 Provideand prepare resources needed by Corporate Partners raising funds for PT,including providing fundraising materials, collection methods and attendingevents or functions where appropriate.
1.9 Use all available methods of communicationas appropriate, including face to face communication wherever possible, tobuild long term relationships with the partners and prospects.
1.10 Proactively research and identify potentialnew mutually beneficial corporate partnerships, giving presentations and pitches to businesses andtrade groups as well as canvassing to cold corporates. Propose new partners tothe CPM for approval and develop and deliver a partnership plan.
1.11 Attend local networking events asidentified by the CPM and identify opportunities to create partnerships and tospeak about the work of Phyllis Tuckwell.
1.12 Research and monitor the success of corporatefundraising at other hospices and in the charity sector and be aware of localcorporate and charity relationships. Identify appropriate opportunities andbring forward to the CPM.
1.13 Working with the Marketing and Communications department and the CPM to design and produce corporatefundraising materials as required, help to draft copy and keep communicationsup to date. Ensure consistency of Fundraising Standards and brand messages inall activities.
1.14 Identify opportunities and corporatesupporters that could also benefit, support wider income streams e.g. Events,Community, Appeals.
1.15 Promote, support and attend PT led events asrequired. Actively encourage the corporate partners to partake and supportevents organised by PT.
Income Generation TeamSupport
1.16 Phyllis Tuckwell has a small but dedicatedteam of fundraisers covering a range of income streams. Our culture is one ofmutual support and therefore it is essential that you have a flexible approachto work and are committed to supporting your fellow fundraisers in return forthe support they will undoubtedly offer you.
1.17 Thisrole involves some out of hours working and a willingness to work flexibly isrequired.
2. TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT

2.1 To share best practice with colleagues,especially in relation to new approaches to work.
2.2 To contribute to the effectivedevelopment of the team, providing personal support where needed.
2.3 To contribute to the success of the wholeincome generation team, supporting other income streams especially in attendingand supporting events when required and being an ambassador for PT.
2.4 To provide continuity of service inrespect of colleagues being on annual leave, sick leave etc.

2.5 To actively look for new opportunitiesand areas for self development using the Hospice annual performance reviewsystem to ensure skills are kept relevant and up to date.

Qualifications
* Member of Institute of Fundraising and completion of the Certificate in Fundraising or equivalent qualification desirable.
