Teaching Assistant – Aspiring County Lines Prevention Officer

Teaching Assistant – Aspiring County Lines Prevention Officer

Location: Horley| Salary: From £101 per day

Are you looking for a role where you can protect and inspire vulnerable young people while building a career in Youth Justice, Social Care or County Lines Prevention? This is a unique opportunity to make a lasting difference. I’m Farhad, and I am personally recruiting for this role in Farnborough.

To find out more, call me directly on 01483 323100 or email today.

Why This Role?

This is not a standard classroom support position. You will be working with primary-aged pupils (5–11) who need a mentor, role model and trusted adult to guide them through difficult circumstances.

Many of these young people face challenges linked to:

1. County Lines exploitation
2. Gang involvement
3. Social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs such as ADHD, trauma and anxiety

Your role will be vital in helping them regulate emotions, build resilience and make positive life choices.

What You Will Do

4. Build meaningful and trusting relationships with pupils
5. Use restorative approaches to encourage safe decision-making
6. Provide targeted support in small class groups (4–12 pupils)
7. Play a key role in protecting young people from criminal exploitation

What We Are Looking For

8. Graduates in Criminology, Psychology, Youth Work or similar subjects (or those with relevant experience)
9. A strong commitment to safeguarding and supporting vulnerable young people
10. Empathy, patience and resilience when managing challenging behaviour
11. Previous experience with at-risk youth is desirable, but full training will be provided

What You Will Gain

12. Specialist training in County Lines prevention, trauma-informed care and restorative practices
13. Career-building experience for roles in Youth Justice, Social Work or Advocacy
14. Support and guidance from a dedicated school environment
15. The opportunity to make a real difference in young lives every day

How to Apply

If you are passionate about safeguarding young people and want to build a career with real impact, I want to hear from you.
