Responsibilities
* Develop and execute strategic initiatives to enhance store performance and profitability by continually challenging our current ways of working.
* Foster a culture of innovation and continual improvement, encouraging new ideas within the store.
* Listen and respond to customers and colleagues, ensuring their experience is at the heart of all decisions.
* Build a high‑performance culture through talent development, succession planning, and supportive leadership.
* Work with Head Office teams to ensure the best availability on the high street, positioning Morrisons as a one‑stop shopping destination.
* Build and manage relationships with the local community, marketing the store so it stands out as a pillar in the community.
* Report to the Regional Manager.
Qualifications
* Experience managing a store in a fast‑paced food retail environment.
* Strong leadership skills with the capacity to listen, respond, coach, and give feedback.
* Passion for spotting and driving talent and creating a successful team culture.
* Ability to resolve challenges, build trust, and set clear objectives aligned with Morrisons’ priorities.
* Natural ability to create a culture that fosters collaboration and values diverse viewpoints.
