RF Design EngineerLocation: Cowes (Portsmouth may be considered)Hourly Rate: £60 PAYE or £81.05 UmbrellaContract Duration: 6 monthsWorking Pattern: 3–4 days per week on-siteClearance: BPSS required; SC in progress. Export control applies if offered.Are you a senior RF Design Engineer with a passion for next-gen radar systems? We’re looking for a highly skilled contractor to join a growing team, delivering a brand-new design from the ground up – not R&D, but real-world build and development.Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the design, development, and verification of advanced RF hardware solutions.
* Work across disciplines to bring complex electronics from concept to production.
* Define and execute test plans, and oversee test equipment setup and use.
* Ensure RF design meets technical and quality assurance standards.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Several years of hands-on RF engineering experience.
* Strong background in electronics and PCB design.
* Deep understanding of RF requirements and design principles.
* Experience with RF design assurance processes and techniques.
* Ability to write and implement comprehensive test plans.
Desirable:
* Background in radar or defence sectors preferred.
* Will also consider candidates from telecoms or related industries.

* Must be eligible to go through UK security clearance processes.
