We’re looking for a new Head of Strategic Research Communications to lead the next phase of how we share that impact with the world.

This is a career-defining role for a strategic communicator with deep experience in research, media, or public affairs. You’ll:

- Develop and lead pan-University strategies for research storytelling.

- Advise senior leaders on reputation and research-related issues.

- Lead a skilled and award-winning team focused on global engagement, REF, and campaigns.

- Work closely with world-leading academics, development, and innovation teams.

- Craft content that resonates - across digital, media, and global platforms.

This is more than a comms job — it’s about building public trust, shaping national and global narratives, and helping Oxford connect with the world through the power of research.
