Facilities Officer & IT Proximity Support
This is an exciting role with responsibilities including:
* Building laptops and creating new joiner packs
* Participating in the leaver process and administering the local service desk
* Assisting the Facilities Manager with DSE assessments, desk moves, fire warden and first aider duties, and first response coordination with G4S
* Acting as contact for contractors and ensuring work is carried out correctly
* Maintaining buildings and assisting with supply of stationery and consumables
* Replenishing kitchen consumables and covering reception duties
* Performing basic maintenance and fault-finding on printers, copiers, and fax machines, including changing toners
* Conducting facilities checks and administering smart card access
* Ensuring incidents are resolved and deploying devices such as PCs, printers, copiers, fax machines, and mobile devices
Requirements include understanding of Business Structure and IT fundamentals, ability to create clear and concise documentation, good time management and prioritization skills. Desirable qualifications include general H&S training (Legionella, COSHH, NEBOSH, DSE). The ideal candidate is a good team player and able to work on initiative.
