Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and the ability to create a safe, engaging, and educational environment. This role involves managing daily activities for children, ensuring their well-being, and fostering their development through play and structured learning.
Responsibilities
* Provide attentive and compassionate care to children in a nursery or childcare setting.
* Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
* Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to childcare.
* Manage daily routines including meal times, nap times, and playtime while maintaining a safe environment.
* Observe children's behaviour and progress, documenting any significant developments or concerns.
* Foster a positive atmosphere that encourages children to express themselves and build confidence.
* Drive children to various activities or appointments as needed, ensuring their safety at all times.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is highly desirable.
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm and organised environment.
* Leadership qualities that inspire trust and respect from children and parents alike.
* A genuine love for working with children and an understanding of their developmental needs.
* A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting children as required.
